welcome to my site

I'm Roeland Dol, bass guitarist, keyboardist, composer, arranger. I perform, compose and record pop, rock and jazz music. Usually you'll find me in or around my home studio in Utrecht, The Netherlands.

Current activities include the vocal/vibe/bass jazz ensemble Club Verbrugge, the on/of jazz Sjarapova quintet and an ongoing stream of new compositions. Future plans: a heavy rock trio, a series of really hip ringtones, a compact opera.

On this site, you can read more about me, listen to or watch some of my work, contact me or click through to related sites, or explore the other section.

Toontrack drums, Garritan jazz & bigband sounds, Complete Classic Collection symphony sounds and beautiful Yamaha speakers and - hopefully - some more time to work with them. 2009, January 2; in two weeks I'll leave for Tamale, Ghana, for three months. I will take my bass and some other musical equipment and hope to return with fond memories, beautiful recordings and fresh ideas. In the meanwhile, my Utrecht-based activities will have to hibernate;)
